Summer Discipleship Night:
Discover Your Personal Apostolate
“All members of the Church share in [Christ’s] mission, though in various ways: ‘The Christian vocation is, of its nature a vocation to the Apostolate as well.’ Indeed, we call an apostolate 'every activity of the Mystical Body’ that aims ‘to spread the kingdom of Christ all over the earth’” (CCC 863).
Ordinary life is anything but ordinary. Lay people are called by God to be salt and light right where they are—in families, neighborhoods, and workplaces. But what does this look like? The answer may be different for every person; we're all given a unique mission—or "personal apostolate"—in radiating God's love to the world around us.
Come to this event to experience:
- Inspiring video messages from Andrea Jackson of the Evangelical Catholic
- A practical prayer method and worksheet for discovering and acting upon your personal apostolate
- Time for personal reflection and small group discussion
